The prolific Ti<sub>3</sub>Co<sub>5</sub>B<sub>2</sub> structure type has produced exciting materials with tunable magnetic properties, ranging from soft magnetic Ti<sub>2</sub>FeRh<sub>5</sub>B<sub>2</sub>, to semihard magnetic Ti<sub>2</sub>FeRu<sub>4</sub>RhB<sub>2</sub> and hard magnetic Sc<sub>2</sub>FeRu<sub>3</sub>Ir<sub>2</sub>B<sub>2</sub>.
