Terra Populus (TerraPop) provides global-scale data on human population characteristics, land use, land cover, and climate. The data are integrated across time and space, made available to the public, and preserved for future generations. TerraPop lowers barriers to transdisciplinary research, especially focusing on human-environment interactions. Researchers from across the social and environmental sciences can use TerraPop’s interactive web applications to discover data within their discipline and across other disciplines. TerraPop makes it easy for researchers to combine data from different domains into customized datasets tailored for their work
