Las bronquiectasias continúan siendo causa importante de morbilidad y mortalidad Este estudio evalúa 29 años de experiencia en el tratamiento quirúrgico de las bronquiectasias. Se revisaron las historias de 153 pacientes con diagnóstico de bronquiectasias sometidos a tratamiento quirúrgico entre 15 de octubre de 1979 y enero 2008. Analizando las siguientes variables: edad, sexo, etiología, duración de la enfermedad, síntomas, imagenología, evaluación preoperatorio procedimiento quirúrgico, morbi- mortalidad, seguimiento. 153 pacientes fueron sometidos a 158 intervenciones.
