Dectin-3 deficiency does not impact pulmonary leukocyte recruitment during immune response to <i>C</i>. <i>neoformans</i> infection.

<p>C57BL/6 (WT) and Dectin-3 KO mice were infected via intranasal inoculation with <i>C</i>. <i>neoformans</i> strain H99. Lungs were excised at days 7 and 14 post-inoculation and pulmonary infiltrates analyzed by flow cytometry. Leukocytes were labeled with anti-CD45 antibodies for total leukocytes (A) or dual labeled with anti-CD45 and antibodies specific for cell type (B-L) and were analyzed by flow cytometry. Data shown are the mean ± of SEM absolute cell numbers from three independent experiments performed using 5 mice per group per time point per experiment. Significant differences were defined as <i>P</i> < 0.05 (*), <i>P</i> < 0.01 (**) <i>P</i> < 0.001 (***), <i>P</i> < 0.0001(****).
