Exendin-4 promoted adiponectin expression in mice.

<p>(A) Exendin-4 promoted protein expression of adiponectin, Sirt1 and Foxo-1 in mice. (B) Exendin-4 promoted mRNA expression of adiponectin in mice. Statistical analysis shows that exendin-4 treatment significantly increased adiponectin level compared to control experiments under both normal chow and high fat diet conditions. (C) Exendin-4 promoted circulating adiponectin in mice. Statistical analysis shows that exendin-4 treatment significantly increased circulating adiponectin level compared to control experiments under both normal chow and high fat diet conditions. Also, exendin-4 treatment ameliorated but not fully reversed the circulating adiponectin level under high fat diet condition compared to the normal chow group.
