While the World Health Organization (WHO) definition of health (“a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”) is globally accepted, few health service evaluation systems include the voice of patients, despite the purported objectives of health service providers. The overall purpose of this thesis was to evaluate patients’ experiences of health services in Saudi Arabia (SA).
