<div><p>Salinity is one of the most prominent abiotic factors, which greatly influence reproduction, development, growth, physiological and metabolic activities of fishes. Spotted sea bass (<i>Lateolabrax maculatus</i>), as a euryhaline marine teleost, has extraordinary ability to deal with a wide range of salinity changes.
