Electrical and optical properties of the ternary compound CuGeTe

Propiedades eléctricas y ópticas del compuesto ternario Cu2GeTe3 Fernández, Braulio J. y Villarreal, Manuel Resumen En este trabajo presentamos el estudio de la resistividad eléctrica, el coeficiente de Hall y la magnetoresistencia en finción de temperatura para el CU2GeTe3 tipo-p, en el rango de temperaturas desde 80 hasta 300 k y bajo un campo magnético de 15 kG. Del análisis de estos efectos se determinó que este compuesto presenta una conducción metálica. Una brecha de energía indirecta Ec=0,30 eV ha sido obtenida de la medida de la absorbancia óptica a temperatura ambiente. Electrical and optical properties of the ternary compound Cu2GeTe3 Fernández, Braulio J. y Villarreal, Manuel Abstract We report in this work the temperature dependence of the electrical resistivity, the Hall effect and the magnetoresistance on p-type CU2GeTe3 in the temperature range from 80 to 300 K and under a magnetic field of 15 kG. From the analysis of these effects we determined that this compound present a metalic conduction.
