<p>During open field exploration, <i>Htt</i><i>Q111/+</i> mice travel less distance than <i>Htt</i><i>+/+</i> mice (A) and spend more time along the outer walls of the arena (B). This thigmotactic tendency combined with observations that <i>Htt</i><i>Q111/+</i> mice initiate fewer total investigations of both objects during the novel object location task (C) suggest that <i>Htt</i><i>Q111/+</i> mice exhibit anxiety-like phenotypes and are less motivated to explore. However, <i>Htt</i> ASO treatment failed to modulate these phenotypes. ‡ p ≤ 0.05, ‡‡ p ≤ 0.01, ‡‡‡ p ≤ 0.001: by factorial ANOVA.</p
