<p>A) The change in time a female spent nursing in comparison to the control day after reintroduction of the “removed” female after 4 or 12 hours. B) The change in time the “resident” female (remaining with the pups) spent nursing young in the absence of her partner. One observation corresponds to the first hour after the separation, the other to the last hour before the reintroduction. Given are model estimates (means) and the 95% CI of the mean.
