<p>(A) <i>E</i>. <i>coli</i> BL21 harboring the empty vector pET22b, the plasmid encoding <i>R</i>. <i>conorii</i> His<sub>6</sub>-tagged Adr2 (pSRK-2) or <i>R</i>. <i>conorii</i> His-tagged Adr1 (pJPO1) were incubated with normal human serum. Western immunoblot analysis revealed a reactive band at approximately 75 kDa in all lanes except for the empty vector when probed with antibody raised against vitronectin. Expression of both Adr2 and Adr1 was confirmed by anti-His<sub>6</sub>, and equal loading was demonstrated with anti-<i>E</i>. <i>coli</i> RNA Polymerase alpha (RNAP).
