<p><b>Objectives:</b> The objectives were to determine the prevalence of human papillomavirus (HPV) in mobile tongue cancer (MTC) and evaluate associations and survival.</p> <p><b>Materials and methods:</b> Patients who underwent surgical resection as primary treatment for MTC (<i>n</i> = 127) were retrospectively evaluated.
