<p>The effect of 4-h preincubation of 10-nM Gal-9 (closed bar) or HBSS (open bar) as a control on neutrophil chemotaxis in response to KC (20 ng/mL) was examined in 48-well chemotaxis chambers. Gal-9 significantly reduced chemotaxis and the addition of lactose reversed this chemotaxis inhibition.
