MATLAB script for the image analysis of 3D spheroid cultures based on an 3D ellipsoid approximation of the spheroids. The scripts takes as input 3D confocal image stacks with one channel staining the full spheroid and another channel specific (nuclear) marker. It outputs both size and shape features of the spheroids as well as the density of positive cells in the spheroids
