Increased periostin expression in breast carcinoma.

<p>Western blot and qRT-PCR analysis of Periostin were performed in eight paired breast carcinoma and adjacent normal specimens. <b>(A)</b> Periostin protein was increased in breast carcinoma (BC) tissues compared to that in the corresponding adjacent normal (N) breast tissues. <b>(B)</b> qRT-PCR also demonstrated up-regulated periostin mRNA expression in the BC tissues compared to N breast tissues.
