Rose diagrams and mean orientations of the scratches detected in the dental microware analysis of the four postcanines.

<p>Percentages of scratches in each 10 degrees orientation bin are shown by rose diagrams, with mean orientation shown as black arrows. In all four postcanines, mean orientations were within 20 degrees from the anterior direction. From the rose diagrams, it is clear that scratches on the second postcanine of PVSJ 1091 were well aligned, whereas scratches on the second postcanine of PVSJ 707 were more randomly distributed.
