<p>Quantitative gene expression of (<b>A</b>) cathepsins (<i>ctsda</i>, <i>ctsdb</i>, <i>ctsb</i>, <i>ctsl</i>), (<b>B</b>) calpains (<i>capn1</i>, <i>capn2</i>, <i>capn3</i>, <i>capns1a</i> (<i>s1a</i>), <i>capns1b</i> (<i>s1b</i>)) and (<b>C</b>), UbP members (<i>mafbx</i>, <i>murf1</i>, <i>n3</i>, <i>ub</i>) relative to the geometric mean of <i>ef1α</i> and <i>rps18</i> in myocytes at days 2, 4 or 8 of culture after incubation from day 1 (for samples at days 2 and 4) or day 7 (for samples at day 8) with a growth medium deficient in leucine (open bars) or lysine (filled bars).
