The Braun-Blanquet method: a history and modern tendencies

The development of phytocenology from historical point of view beginning at the origin of botanical geography to the introduction of Braun-Blanquet technique in the ex-Soviet countries is considered. Evolution of ideas and interrelation between Uppsal and France-Switzerland geobotanical schools in Europe is shown. The attention is given to the peculiarities of «Russian derivative» syntaxonomy and geobotanical reform in Ukraine. The condition and some problems about today s syntaxonomy ofPhragmitiMagnocaricetea, Molinio-Arrhenatheretea, Festuco-Brometea, Querco-Fagetea, Vaccinio-Piceetea Ukraine is analyzed.В історичному аспекті розглядається розвиток фітоценології від зародження ботанічної географії до впровадження методики Браун-Бланке в пострадянських країнах. Показано еволюцію ідей та взаємовідносини вітчизняної та франко-швейцарської геоботанічних шкіл в Європі. Приділено увагу особливостям «російського деривату» синтаксономії та геоботанічної реформи в Україні. Аналізується стан та деякі проблемні питання сучасної синтаксономії класів Phragmiti-Magnocaricetea, Molinio-Arrhenatheretea, Festuco-Bmmetea, Querco-Fagetea, Vaccinio-Piceetea в Україні
