Culture of Legaslative Drafting and Language

This article is dedicated to the problems of the mutual connection between the language and the law, the influence of the language factor upon the legal culture, the dependence of the quality of legal texts and level of those who compose them. Author meets with the brand new applied trend in interbranch research in this sphere and a new discipline - legal linguistics, whose object is the language of the law, its functions and specifics, essential functional-stylistic types. It is payed special attention to the language problems of legislative drafting, content and form of linguistic training of legislative drafters in Ukraine.Стаття присвячена питанням взаємозв'язку мови і права, впливу мовного фактора на правову культуру, залежності якості нормативно-правових текстів від рівня фахово-мовної підготовки тих, хто їх укладає. Автор знайомить із новим прикладним напрямом міжгалузевих досліджень у цій сфері і новою навчальною дисципліною - юридичною лінгвістикою, об'єктом якої є мова права, її функції і специфіка, основні функціонально-стильові різновиди.
