Workplace bullying has been shown to have severe negative consequences for both the victims and organisations concerned. Thus, the aim of this paper is to further understanding of workplace bullying by in particular exploring the significance of gender in this phenomenon. The focus is on the prevalence, forms and perceptions of bullying, and the extent to which these interactions and perceptions can be understood as gendered.
