One of the goals of next generation broadcasting services is to provide realistic media contents to the users. Realistic media contents are media with multiple sensorial effects (mulsemedia) aimed at increasing user's experience through the five sense representation (i.e., taste, sight, touch, smell, and hearing). In this research area, a key issue is the measure of the impact of mulsemedia on the perceived user's quality of experience (QoE). This paper provides an updated overview of the researches achieved in the domain of QoE for mulsemedia services.
