Polypyrrole (PPy)/poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) core/shell nanospheres with diameters of several tens of nanometers have been synthesized by two-step microemulsion polymerization, and highly transparent conductive thin films have been fabricated using the nanospheres as a filler in a PMMA matrix.
