In this article, the author introduces the basic information and the historical development of document delivery and interlibrary loan services conducted by Chinese libraries at different organizational levels and in different geographical areas. It compares and analyzes the commonalities, peculiarities and service-effectiveness of three most important systems of document delivery and interlibrary loan currently available in China. The author also discusses the developing trend of such services in the future.</p
