This thesis uses relatively large intra-specific (Ruddy Turnstone [Arenaria interpres]) and inter-specific (seven shorebird species along the East Asian-Australasian Flyway) datasets to analyse thus far largely unexplored aspects of the migratory behaviour of these shorebirds.
