OBJECTIVE: To investigate whether treatment with progestogens in the first trimester of pregnancy would decrease the incidence of miscarriage in women with a history of unexplained recurrent miscarriage. DESIGN: Systematic review and meta-analysis. SETTING: Not applicable. PATIENT(S): Women with a history of unexplained recurrent miscarriage.
