In this study, in order to grasp the probability density function (PDF) for concrete deterioration, we examine the occurrence and progress of surface scaling, which is a typical form of concrete deterioration in cold marine environments. The PDF and the cumulative distribution function (CDF-the Weible distribution), are applied to the relationship between the degree of deterioration and the occurrence ratio. The significance of the CDF from PDF conforming to the Weible distribution the data is tested using the Kolomogorov-Smirnov statistical test. The significance level of the tested CDF was within 1%
