This paper describes the development of a Web-based evaluation toolkit that supports practitioners in the effective and appropriate use and evaluation of learning materials. An outline of the basic toolkit architecture and design will be described, along with extracts of some of the formative feedback received on the use and value of the toolkit during a range of user trials which were carried out as part of the project development work. The paper will conclude with potential applications for such toolkits and recommendations for future developmen
