This work presents the application of Bond-Graph Technique to modelling and simulating the behaviour of railway transport as a tool for studying its dynamic behaviour, consumption and energy efficiency, and environmental impact. The basic aim of this study is to make a contribution to the research and innovation into new technologies that will lead to the discovery of ever more efficient environmentally-friendly transport.
