Proses Penyelesaian Perkara Perceraian Bagi Pegawai Negeri Sipil(Studi Kasus Pengadilan Agama Surakarta)

Divorce can be done by a wife by filing a lawsuit to the District Court or to the Religious Courts. In practice, many civil servants experience divorce. A civil servant who will perform a divorce must obtain a permit from an officer (superior) and it must be filed in writing with the basic reason before filing a lawsuit in the Court. Civil Servants who do not meet the requirements and procedures will be subject to disciplinary sanction by the superior's Official. The purpose of this study is to know the procedures and reasons underlying the divorce application granted and judge's consideration of divorce cases for Civil Servants and legal consequences of divorce. This research uses normative juridical approach because investigated is legal aspect, legal principle, rule of law, using secondary law source that is literature and primary law material that is legislation. The nature of this research is descriptive research because it explains carefully about the process of divorce. The result of this research is Civil Servant obliged to make permission of divorce request to superiors to be able to file lawsuit in Court. In proving it is true that the marriage is right there is an argument and can not get along again because the Defendant has a relationship with another woman. In the verdict, the judge granted a divorce with verstek. The legal consequence of this research is the absence of legal relationship between husband and wife and the defendant has no obligation to finance the life of the child
