Pengaruh Limbah Peternakan Sapi Terhadap Kualitas Air Tanah Untuk Kebutuhan Air Minum (Studi Kasus Di Desa Singosari Kecamatan Mojosongo Kabupaten Boyolali Tahun 2017)

Singosari village in 2016 has a population of 4.945 cows with the number of breeders as many as 1155 inhabitants. The results of cattle raising activities produce both solid and liquid waste (19.780 - 49.450 Kg / hari), which is consistent with the amount of feed given by the farmers every day. Waste generated from livestock processing is not well processed or managed by farmers. The farmers dispose of cow dung waste by being dumped in the back of the house and on the gutters that are near the settlement without doing the processing first. It is feared will pollute the quality of ground water in the study area. This study aims to determine the effect of cattle livestock waste on soil water quality and determine the distribution of groundwater quality for the drinking water needs of raw water according to class I based on Government Regulation No. 82 of 2001. The research method used is survey method, taking object using purposive sampling method, data collection method using observation method and analysis method using descriptive method komperatif. The results showed that the overall sample showed the value of COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand), and TSS (Total Suspended Solid) exceeded the predetermined threshold, especially the pH value in sample 3 also did not meet the requirement of Class I quality. land is not suitable for drinking water because it has been contaminated.
