Keterbukaan Diri dalam Strategi Konflik pada Pasangan Intercultural Marriages

Intercultural marriage is a union between two people who have differences in nationality and culture as husband and wife, while building family ties. Dynamics and technological developments allow people to move from one to another place which in turn allows intercultural marriages happened. Cultural influences individual's view on looking into things, one of them is conflict. This research aims to know how the role of self-diclosure on conflict strategy in a couple with different view on seeing conflict because of influenced by differences in cultural orientation. Researcher does interview with two intercultural couples in Indonesia-Europe culture. This analysis uses qualitative method to decide the category on the theme and pattern of data collected. In short; the result of this research is by communication competence between cultures—intercultural marriage couples can understand the conflict pattern based on cultural differences influence as a root cause about priority scale in family, how to educate your child, and how to view the conflict. As a result self-disclosure has a big influence on predicting conflict and strategic decision which is needed in decision making.
