Giribangun situated on the slopes of Mount Lawu, precisely in the Village Karangbangun, District Matesih, Karanganyar. Position cemetery located in the hills makes a wide variety of flora grow forming dense forest vegetation, including mosses. Bryophyta is one of the low-lelvel plants that live in a humid environment that has organs like roots, stems, and leaves. The purpose of this study is to determine the types of bryophyta plants in the area Giribangun and the factors that affect its growth. The research was conducted by plot method which was done by making 6 plot at research location with area 50x50 cm. The results showed : Marchantia polymorpha, Riccia sp, Brachythecium rutabulum, Dumortiera hirsuta, Fissidens teysmannianus, Physcomitrella patens, Marchantia geminata, Anthoceros sp, and Jungermannia caespiticium.
