Pelatihan Asertivitas Untuk Meningkatkan Harga Diri Pada Korban Perundungan (Bullying) Di SMP

Students who become victims of bullying mostly show weaker physical characteristics than others, have fewer friends, less assertive, closed personality, less confidence and lack the courage to resist. The purpose of research to determine the effect of training asertivitas to increase self-esteem victims bullying junior high school students. The research design uses experimental in the form of randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Subjects of this research are the students of Muhammadiyah Junior High School in Surakarta, who become victims of bullying. The number of experimental subjects was 11 people, and the control group subjects were 11 people. Data collection using Self-esteem scale and intervention by using the assertiveness training module. The data analysis technique used Wilcoxon to examine the significance differences of the experimental group based on the treatment given. Then analysis of mann whitney test to test the difference of significance between the two groups, that the experimental group could control. The results of the data analysis test showed that there was a difference of self-esteem level between the groups who were trained and the groups that were not given training. The self-esteem of experimental group subjects was higher than in the group. With Thus, there is an assertiveness training effect to improve self-esteem in junior high school students.
