Pengembangan Media Ajar Maket Pada Materi Letusan Gunungapi Merapi Di SMP Negeri 1 Cawas Kabupaten Klaten

This study aims to determine the effectiveness and increase of knowledge on the use of media maket on the material Eruption of Volcano with the students who follow the activity of School Disaster Preparedness (SSB) in SMP Negeri 1 Cawas. This research is a research development or R & D. The subject of this research is 25 students of SSB member at SMP Negeri 1 Cawas. The data collection instrument is a feasibility test sheet and a knowledge test sheet. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis in accordance with the development procedure. This research shows that the teaching medium of the model is feasible to be used in the learning process after being validated by the media expert. The results show that the mean values before using the media (pretest) 5,588 and the mean value after using the media (post-test) 8,8875, so it can be explained that there is a large increase in student learning outcomes
