Analisis Yuridis Perlindungan Hukum Terhadap Hak Merek Home Industries Alat Musik Gitar Menurut Undang-Undang No. 20 Tahun 2016 Tentang Hak Merek Dan Indikasi Geografis (Studi Kasus di Desa Ngrombo Kecamatan Baki Kabupaten Sukoharjo)

This study aims to determine the understanding of craftsmen on guitar brands and constraints faced by brand owners and entrepreneurs related to the use of brands in the Village Ngrombo Baki District Sukoharjo District. The research method uses a descriptive juridical-empirical approach. The data source consists of primary data ie interview and secondary data from supporting literatures. Data collection techniques with field study (interview) and literature study, then the data were analyzed qualitatively. The result of the research shows that the guitar artist's understanding on guitar brand protection is still low, because the craftsmen think the brand registration is not very important as a result of the lack of socialization from Disperindag regarding Law No. 20 of 2016 on Brand Rights and Geographical Indication. Constraints faced by guitar owners or entrepreneurs related to the use of the brand due to ignorance of the process of a complex registration of the brand, thus making the craftsmen do not register the brand, because they have to pay the administrative costs are too expensive
