This study described the development and evaluation of the Grandparent Triple P (GTP) program with Hong Kong Chinese families. A randomized controlled trial was conducted with 56 grandparents being randomized to either the intervention condition (GTP) or a waitlist control group. Focus groups were also conducted at post-intervention to explore the experience of participants and facilitators who participated in the program. Participants completed self-report questionnaires on their grandchildren’s behavior problems, grandparent self-efficacy, and relationship with their biological children, at pre- and post-intervention.
