The superplasticity of an electrodeposited nanocrystalline Ni–Co alloy with an average grain size of 20 nm was investigated. A maximum elongation of 279% was obtained at a temperature of 773 K and a strain rate of 5 × 10−3 s−1, and a significant amount of twinning and dislocation was observed in the deformed specimens. The relatively low superplasticity of the alloy is discussed in terms of its grain growth and accommodation mechanisms.Department of Industrial and Systems Engineerin
