10th East Asia-Pacific Conference on Structural Engineering and Construction, EASEC 2010, Bangkok, 3-5 August 2006This paper investigates the influence of geometrical shape loads and incremental stage loads on the scaffold systems with different formwork configurations under fresh concrete loads. It was found that the mixed scaffold system with wooden posts 1.7 m in length at top had a buckling resistance of only half of the bare scaffold system. The largest deformation occurs near the top of the bottom scaffold for the bare scaffold systems and at the position between the bottom of the wooden post and the top of the highest scaffold of the mixed scaffold system.
