Möbler som låter : Mekaniskt framkallat ljud och dess tillämpningsmöjligheter i möbler

This work is a study about mechanically produced sound and different applications of it in furniture design. I have a background in building musical instruments and wanted to combine my competence in the fields of musical instruments, furniture and design in this project. Through this project I have added yet another medium to my design process with the aim to challenge my creative ability and to deepen my knowledge of sound as a phenomenon. The project has had more of an artistic and conceptual starting point and has been carried out mainly for exhibition purposes. The project has through research and various experiments resulted in a small collection of sounding furniture
