The Legis Actiones: from Twelve Tables of Roman law to the Plautu's stage

En esta ocasión abordaremos el sistema de las legis actiones y analizaremos su modo de representación en el escenario plautino con relación al motivo amoroso. Plauto representa una fuente para el conocimiento y reconstrucción de la realidad social y jurídica de Roma, al cubrir el vacío de ciertas instituciones, al confirmar otras y al poner en tela de juicio algunos tópicos que se han aceptado sin reparos. This paper studies the system of legis actions and their mode of representation in Plautus´stage in relation to the loving motive. The analysis of different scenes allows to show that the plautine comedy is a source for the knowledge and reconstruction of the social and legal reality of Rome because the play writer questions certain topics that have been accepted without objections.
