A Case of Multiple Hemangioblastomas in the Lateral Ventricle and the Spinal Cord

We report a case of hemangioblastomas in the lateral ventricle and the spinal cord. A 56-year-old man had received radiation for a lateral ventricle tumor of undermined pathology six years earlier, because he had rejected surgical procedures. He was hospitalized due to gait and memory disturbance. An intradural extramedullary mass was found by spinal MRI at the T11 level of the spinal cord as well as regrowth of the ventricular tumor. The spinal tumor was totally resected and diagnosed as hemangioblastoma. The patient underwent removal of the lateral ventricular tumor through a transcallosal approach.
