This investigation analyzes the imaginary formation of the infected people with VIH/ AIDS in two different cultural contexts: Spanish and Mexican. AIDS is not just an isolated biologic phenomenon, it is also related with and social cultural aspects that have influence on the way in which the person will assimilate the illness.
