Actitudes hacia la ciencia: un campo de interés investigativo en la didáctica de las ciencias

Taking this paper aims to make a general presentation of aspects related to this subject. Furthermore, the evolution of the ‘attitude’ concept and the ways attitudes are classified are described in the article, and the different tools used to measure it are also mentioned, together with its advantages and difficulties. The results of certain researches in this field are also synthesized and, by way of conclusion, a reflection is made on the role that the schools and teachers, particularly science teachers, would play in the development of attitudes considered as positive towards science.Este escrito tiene como objetivo presentar aspectos relacionados con este tema; se describe la evolución del concepto de actitud, las formas de clasificación de las actitudes, se mencionan los diferentes instrumentos que se han implementado para su medición, sus ventajas y dificultades. También se sintetizan los resultados de algunas investigaciones en este campo y, se presenta una reflexión sobre el papel que jugarían las instituciones escolares y los docentes, particularmente, los de ciencias naturales, en el desarrollo de actitudes consideradas positivas hacia la ciencia
