This work questions the concept of "author" -as proposed by Michel Foucault- using as a starting point the 'exile writings' produced in Argentine literature regarding the 1976 coup d'etat. Mainly to two paradigmatic texts: Cuerpo a cuerpo [Hand to hand] (1979) by David Viñas and Libro de navíos y borrascas [The book of ships and squalls] (1983) by Daniel Moyano.
