El oleoturismo como motor de desarrollo rural: La denominación de origen de montoro-adamuz

Oil tourism is a modality of Rural Tourism that is developed in the some olive tree towns of the Mediterranean basin. The tourist activities are organized in relation to the oil olive. These are activities related to this product: visiting mills for making oil olive, olive tasting, cultivation fields, culture and history of oil olive.In this research we are going to analyze the situation of this tourist activity in relation to this sub-sector in the Destination of Origin (DO) Montoro-Adamuz with the aim of knowing the consumer profile of oil tourism. In this way, different tools may be designed in order to promote and commercialize oil tourism in this region.El oleoturismo es una modalidad de turismo rural que se desarrolla en los municipios olivareros de la cuenca mediterránea. Las actividades turísticas están organizadas en torno al aceite de oliva y entre ellas se encuentran: visitas a campos de cultivo, a almazaras, catas, así como al estudio de la cultura y la historia del aceite. En esta investigación se analiza la situación de la actividad turística relacionada con este subsector en la Denominación de Origen Montoro-Adamuz, con el fin de conocer el perfil del consumidor de oleoturismo. A partir de aquí, se podrán diseñar herramientas para la promoción y comercialización del oleoturismo en esta región
