This volume presents the royal letters and treaties excavated in 1987 at Tell Leilan (Syria) by archaeologists from Yale University. Comprehensive introductory sections review the evidence in its archaeological and historical contexts, and are followed by the complete scholarly edition of the texts. Facsimile drawings and photos of the original tablets are presented both in print and on cd-rom.
