Event-related studies have provided indirect evidence that Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) children have abnormalities in signal detection and discrimination, and in information processing. Moreover, studies suggest that there exist very low frequency fluctuations modulating underlying neuronal events.
