U radu je ispitan utjecaj početne pH vrijednosti otopine u rasponu pH o =2,52-8,15 na vezivanje mangana na prirodni (PZ) i Fe(III)-modificirani zeolit (FeZ) iz otopine početne koncentracije, c o (Mn)=4,680 mmol/L. Nakon uspostave ravnoteže, u filtratu su određene ravnotežne koncentracije mangana u otopini i ravnotežni pH e . Iz eksperimentalnih rezultata izračunata je količina vezanog mangana po gramu zeolita, q e i stupanj vezivanja, α. Rezultati ukazuju da količina vezanog mangana, q e i stupanj vezivanja, α rastu s porastom pH o vrijednosti otopine.
