Locomotor skills are generally basic skills that are taught in elementary physical education classes. Many other skills are learned when the student has a good understanding and ability to perform locomotor skills. In this study, the researcher attempted to answer the questions: Will a difference in the abilities of Pre-K students to perform and retain locomotor skills relate to age and gender? What effect(s) will result from using a music-oriented approach?
