Economic Crises in Poland

In the last decade the Polish economy fell into some of the deepest and longest lasting crises in her history. It is not the only ciris within the post-war period. It is my belief that the roots of all these crises are in the character and dynamics of the existing social and economic system. In attempt, therefore, to explain the causes, mechanisms and consequences of crises in contemporary Poland, I will analyze the working and the evolution of her socio-economic system.Published in connection with a visit at the IIES
